The U.S. Coast Guard E-6 Rating Badge: Culinary Specialist is crafted to reflect the honor, professionalism, and service of those who proudly serve. Featuring the iconic eagle and crossed culinary insignia, this badge symbolizes the dedication and expertise of Culinary Specialists across the fleet.
Versatile Design: Though designated for E-6, these badges are carefully designed so they can be tailored down to E-4 and E-5 specifications after purchase.
Placement: Worn on the left shoulder, clearly displaying both rank and rate.
Professional Finish: Made with durable materials for a sharp, regulation-accurate appearance that withstands regular wear.
Pride in Service: An essential part of the Coast Guard uniform, representing not just rank, but the critical role Culinary Specialists play in sustaining mission readiness.
Whether you’re advancing in rank, updating your uniform, or ensuring your gear is ready for inspection, this badge is a must-have for any Culinary Specialist in the United States Coast Guard.
The rating badge indicates the wearer’s rate/pay grade. It consists of a perched eagle with the wings extended upward and the head to eagle’s right. Chevron(s) and star(s) indicate the wearer’s pay grade. The color of the chevrons for E-4 through E-6 is scarlet with the background the same color as the jacket.
The badge will be placed on the outer side of the left sleeve of the Service Dress Blue coat and both Dinner Dress Jackets. The badge is placed midway between the shoulder and the elbow, midway between the front and back crease. (Rating badges shall have a hem allowing for no more than ¼ inch excess fabric at the top or bottom prior to placement.)
